2025-06-28  Abibiman Media

In the dynamic landscape of African entrepreneurship, one name continues to shine—Richard Nii-Armah Quaye. As the visionary founder and President of RNAQ Holdings, he is at the forefront of reshaping finance and investment in Ghana and beyond, with a mission to elevate African-led ventures onto the global stage.

Under his bold leadership, Bills Micro Credit—formerly Quick Credit and Investment Microcredit—has become Ghana’s leading microfinance institution. Established in 2009, the company has empowered over 350,000 active clients, disbursing a remarkable ₵3.2 billion in loans in just 2023 and 2024 alone. With a workforce of more than 2,000 employees, it commands the largest market share in the microfinance industry.

Beyond Ghana’s borders, Richard expanded the vision through OYA Micro Credit, a pan-African financial institution operating in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. True to its name, “OYA” (meaning Quick in the Ga language) symbolizes the company's commitment to speed, accessibility, and culturally rooted service.

In 2019, he launched Quick Angels Limited, Ghana’s first institutionalized angel investment firm. The company has become a beacon of support for startups and SMEs, providing not just capital, but also mentorship and strategic partnerships.

Richard Nii-Armah Quaye is more than an entrepreneur—he’s a force for economic inclusion, innovation, and a brighter African future.
